The Lawn Tennis Association launches Total Reward Statements with Thomsons Online Benefits
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the governing body of British tennis, has launched online Total Reward Statements for its colleagues to coincide with the highlight of the tennis year, the Wimbledon Championships 2008.
The organisation has implemented online total reward for both head office and field based colleagues in order to support colleague understanding of the value of their benefits package. This work follows feedback received from colleagues through a leading edge colleague Work and Wellbeing Assessment completed in 2007. The scheme was launched in conjunction with Thomsons Online Benefits.
Christine Johnson, HR Manager at the LTA comments: “Colleague well-being is critical to the achievement of our working priorities and the winning vision for British tennis. Our recent colleague work and well-being survey revealed that benefits were not well understood across the organisation and we wanted to address this.”
“We have implemented online Total Reward Statements branded “The Benefits Racket”, so that colleagues understand not only how all the elements of their individual remuneration package are made up, but also to give them one central place with all the benefits information they need. We have also included access to a range of voluntary benefits which have been informed by colleagues.”
Christine continues, “This is the first phase of an ongoing review of our reward strategy which is being developed to support colleague well-being and to reward high levels of performance. We look forward to working with Thomsons Online Benefits in the future.”
