We have an opportunity for Configuration Test Analyst to join our Client Projects Team
Role Description
Working within a new Quality Assurance (QA) team, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as a test analyst. Working on multiple client projects with minimal supervision, you will manage the planning and execution of testing of the configuration of the in-house software product.
You will work as part of a global team with Implementation Consultants and Benefit Consultants to ensure a quality delivery to their diverse clients’ base.
The QA team will provide the final level of testing before our online platform is released to clients for User Acceptance Testing and then launch.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Test Analysis and Planning
- Analyzing project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of the client’s business requirements and the expected outputs of the configured system.
- Creating Test Plans which will effectively test the product configuration and outputs in line with the project and client requirements.
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders for review and feedback on the Test Plan.
- Providing peer review of Test Plans produced by other Configuration Test Analysts.
Test Execution
- Set-up and configuration of test environments in readiness for test execution and maintenance of the integrity of the environment during execution.
- Execution of the agreed set of Test Cases, in line with the Test Plan.
- Clearly and accurately reporting test results and progress to Implementation Consultant to allow for any reconfiguration.
- Retesting of issues when they are reconfigured in the test environment.
- Providing sign-off internally once all issues are resolved.
Requirements
- Experience of having created and executed Test Plans to test either configured software or bespoke systems.
- Desire to work in a small – medium growing company
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
